Classes for freshmen and sophomores are held at Howard University for Fall 2026. Classes for juniors and seniors will be held at Georgetown. All physical training sessions are held at CUA on Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:00 am – 7:15 am.

Navy ROTC
All classes take place at George Washington University. Physical training takes place from 6:00 am – 7:15 am on Tuesday and Wednesday. Navy & Nurse option students attend one physical training session per week based on what works best with their schedule. All Marine Option students attend physical training on Tuesdays only regardless of schedule.

Other NROTC-specified academic requirements:
- Navy option midshipmen are required to complete two semesters of Calculus by the end of the sophomore year and two semesters of Calculus-based Physics by the end of the junior year. This requirement is not applicable to Nurse or Marine Option midshipmen. The following Catholic University courses fulfill this requirement:

- These courses must have a cultural emphasis on regions of interest to the Navy. Foreign language courses that do not provide instruction on culture are insufficient to meet this requirement.
- 6 credits of English courses by end of sophomore year for all students. These courses must concentrate on the areas of grammar and composition and require significant student writing.
Air Force ROTC
All classes held at Howard University. LLAB is always 1 credit and is a pass fail graded as Satisfactory (S) or Unsatisfactory (U). Aerospace Studies (AS) class is 1 credit as a freshman and sophomore and 3 credits as a junior and senior. Physical training takes place Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5:50 am to 7:00 am at Howard University.
